Trip to Budapest, and more.

Lynda Spiro - There is Always More To Say

Late last night we arrived back from a family weekend away in Budapest. It’s the first time in about five years that we have gone away as a family. And it was great! Michael and I both appreciate how very lucky we are that our two grown up sons wanted to come away with us! Thanks boys for making two oldies very happy indeed!

Budapest is a wonderful city. We arrived after midnight on Friday night. And at 9am on Saturday morning we were ready to explore the city on foot with our magnificently named guide Zoltan! He explained the history of Budapest to us. It was incredibly interesting. Taking a guide is a great way to get to know a city. The architecture is stunning. The people are so friendly. The food is divine. The goulash soup in particular! And according to the boys the nightlife is great too!

I would like to thank Jo (@jaffareadstoo) for having shared her lovely thoughts about There Is Always More To Say on jaffareadstoo which you can read here

Now that I’m back, I have returned to my puzzle – aaargh! It is more than challenging and very, very, time consuming. It’s also very satisfying but I have decided that I am going to have to limit myself to an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening! Before we went to Budapest it had totally taken over my life! Anyway, I’m off to do my morning hour now. I’ll post a picture of it in a few days. It’s coming along nicely.

Thanks!
