A Family Visit to the V&A Museum

I had a great Christmas with my family. We went to the V&A Museum to see Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear – a fascinating exhibition exploring the history and controversial underwear from the 18th century up until today. We had a great time as the three of us walked around and discovered all the different ways women used to dress (and undress!) throughout history.

We took another visit Downstairs at the Hampstead Theatre to see Platinum – the intimate stage below the main area which shows some of the most unique plays. It is on until the end of January and examines celebrity culture and how honesty may not always be the best policy. I don’t want to give too much away: but it is definitely worth seeing.

I’ve been enjoying some lovely quality time with the family over this Christmas period. I decided to take a break from writing until after the holiday season. Christmas in London is a fantastic time of year. It’s so quiet. Well, if you don’t go to the shops that is. The roads are empty and on the television are plenty of nostalgic films. Love, Actually is a family favourite of ours – I think we’ve watched it three times over this Christmas period!

Many thanks for your support during this last year. It’s been a really great year for both me and There Is Always More To Say. I would like to take this opportunity in wishing you all a Happy New Year and a healthy 2017.

It’s that time of year when we all think back as to what have been our best and worst moments of the year. Things that we feel we have done well and things that we feel we have done less well. Onwards and upwards 2017, I say.
